SBI PO Recruitment 2023: Notification Summary

SBI has been conducting the PO examination. Now they are planning to hold the next edition of the exam which would be known as SBI PO Examination. Preliminary exams are held for candidates who wish to appear for the main examination. Those students who qualify in both these examinations are thus selected for the posts. SBI PO 2023: Eligibility Criteria, Educational Qualification & Age Limit

Here are the eligibility criteria for Educational Qualification and age limit as per the latest SBI PO notification. Candidates who fulfil the below criteria may be eligible to appear for SBI PO Examination 2023. We'll update this post when we get new notifications.

Nationality:

  • A Citizen of India.

Age Limit:

The minimum age limit is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 30 years. Check the upper age relaxation for different categories:

Education Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field from an accredited university or college.
  • A candidate who falls into the general category must be between 21 and 30 years old to apply for the exam.
  • The General Category candidates can take four attempts

SBI PO Exam Pattern 2023

The SBI PO exam occurs in three stages: Prelims, Mains and Interview. These two Prelims and Mains both use an online method for administering their examinations. The format for the test is as follows:

SBI PO Prelims 2023 Exam Pattern

The Preliminary Exam of SBI PO is an online test which tests a candidate’s ability to understand concepts related to banking. There are three sections in total and the candidate must clear the cut-off of each section to proceed to the mains exam round.

To get through the exam, candidates need to secure at least one passing grade from each test. A sufficient number of candidates from each category as determined by SBI will be selected for online main examination.

There will be 155 MCQs and 2 descriptive questions covering topics like Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General/ Banking Awareness.

SBI PO Mains 2023: Descriptive Test of English Language

In SBI PO Main Exam, the second level is the Descriptive Test. It will be taken immediately after the Objective test. The mode of the exam is online.

SBI PO 2023 Registration Process

All the interested and eligible candidates have submitted their application form along with required documents, photographs, signatures etc.

Candidates applying online must have the following pre-requisites:

  • Visit the Official Website that is www.sbi.co.in.
  • Click on “Careers” tab.
  • Fill your SBI Online Application Form with the details.
  • Upload scanned images of all signatures.
  • Finally, press the ‘Submit” button and take the hard copy.

SBI PO Recruitment Process:

The recruitment process of SBI PO is explained here:

Release of application form:  The application form is released online on the official website. After completing the online application form, applicants must upload their photographs and signatures, fill out the details of the application form, submit their left thumbs impressions and handwritings, pay fees, and wait for approval from the board members.

Issue of admit card:  SBI PO Admit Card 2023 has been released online for various stages. Candidates must log into their accounts using their unique login credentials (registration number/roll number) and date of birth or passwords.

Appearing in the exam:  The exam consists of three phases: Prelims, Mains and Interview. Those who qualify the preliminary exams are called for the main examinations. Candidates who score well enough on their main exams are invited for an interview. After the main exam and interview, the final decision for which candidate gets hired depends on who has scored better during these two stages.

Declaration of result:  Results for SBI PO exam are released online by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (SBI PO). Candidates must log into their account using either an ID card (registration number) or a PIN code (password).
